Frequently Asked Questions
How much do you charge?
My rate is $20 per hour, with a $200 minimum. 8x10" single-subject portraits generally average between 10-14 hours. If the art needs to be shipped, there is a $25 fee that includes tracking and insurance.

What projects do you accept?
If you look through my portfolio, you'll see I like to draw your favorite people! Whether it's your favorite musician, favorite fictional character, your favorite family member, or even yourself!

What materials do you use?
I work with graphite and charcoal on illustration board, bristol vellum, or mixed media paper.
How do I get a quote?
After emailing the necessary information, I will look over your request and follow up with you. After we discuss the specifics of your project, I will be able to provide you with a general estimate.
How do we get started?
If the estimate sounds fair, I will provide you with a commission contract. I also require a $50 non-refundable deposit.
How long is the wait?
Projects are completed on a first-come basis. Each drawing generally takes 1-2 weeks. If you have a time limit or deadline, be sure to include a note in your request.
What about payment/delivery?
When the drawing is complete, I will provide a watermarked digital copy. I prefer to be paid through PayPal (preferably through the "Friends and Family" option, though if you choose "For goods and services" I will need to charge an extra fee to cover the fee that is charged to me by PayPal). After receiving confirmation and final payment, the art will be shipped and you will be provided a tracking number and the package will be insured for the full cost of the project.
What if I'm local?
I do accept cash payments and delivery options to local Jacksonville residents, so be sure to leave a note if this applies to you!
